Custard Biscuits
(Careful, the ingredients are in millilitres!!!)
Preheat OVEN to 180 degrees.
400 g butter MUST BE ROOM TEMP.
125 ml icing sugar
125 ml custard powder
750 ml flour
Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
Add the SOFT butter and KNEAD it all together like making pastry.
Roll into 16 round balls and place on a greased baking tray, well apart.
Press each ball lightly with a fork to make a biscuit shape.
Make for approx 20 mins until just golden.
Cool on a wire rack carefully.
They will be quite crumbly!
Serve with Instant-Soup (cup-a-soup) for a fast & easy meal! ;-)

For those who find these too dry, feel free to try out an interesting variation by adding jam or Nutella just before you bake into a thumb pressed hole.
